Transmission Re-Builds - bsiracing.com

BSI transmissions are legendary in IT Racing circles.
Now you can have one of your own.

STEP 1:	IDENTIFY your transmission. Note: The Transmission code is stamped by the bell housing.

STEP 2:	Mail your core to BSI Racing or purchase a core. ** Specify in a note to Stu if this is a REBUILD FOR STREET or RACE. (BSI Racing has a large selection of cores for sale.)

STEP 3:	DRAIN your transmission prior to shipping!! (Place in a plastic bag). Fluids left in the transmission can Leak and Damage the mailing carton & cause a shipment to be unidentified & lost.

STEP 4:	Pack and Ship through UPS Ground service: Insure a 020 Core for $800.00 (w/ quaife $1600.00) Insure a 02A Core for $1000.00 (w/ quaife $1800.00

STEP 5:	It is mandatory you include your shipping and contact information inside of the box, as well as on the exterior! If for any reason the outer label becomes detached, the transmission will find its way to us, or to back to you. GUIDELINES: It is best to purchase a double wall 20" cube box. If you can not find a DOUBLE WALL Box it is MANDATORY to reinforce the Inner walls. You can cut pieces of cardboard to reinforce the interior Walls. NOTE: BSI Racing has seen poorly packed boxes delivered through UPS. UPS handlers will roll the box's on the their belts. These box's turn over at times. To avoid holes and punctures to the structure, reinforce the walls.

STEP 6:	If you can please alert us that your transmission is on the way for a rebuild, we greatly appreciate it. (A lot of BSI Racing customers will mail their transmissions with no Notification and or name inside of the box.) This is dangerous - the gamble is yours. Just think how disrupted you will be if your transmission is lost by UPS due to improper packaging! NO INTERIOR ID OF TO / FROM INFORMATION CAN RESULT IN LOST PROPERTY

Stu personally inspects and hand builds each transmission.
He will disassemble, diagnose and rebuild it to street or race specs. (Please specify) BSI Racing will always call or email a diagnosis with a cost to fix, before we proceed. Customer authorization is BSI Racing's policy. It is impossible for Stu to quote on transmission troubles (cost to fix) until it is IN HOUSE, disassembled & diagnosed. If there is anything needed over and above the original quote, you will be notified FOR APPROVAL. Stu will save you money, if at all possible, by locating parts in his collection of used interior components. (Availability varies)

All Transmission rebuilds and mail order work, is on a first in first out basis. There are times we are out at the races 2 weeks in a row.
If you are on a particular time frame, PLEASE call first to discuss our in house schedule for that particular time. Stu will do his very best to accommodate you.
